Publication: Rules of the Road
The campaign will publish a summary paper capturing the results from the working group and any lessons learned in Planetary Science Journal.
Individual PIs are free to publish their own papers at anytime based on the data they collected. Just let us know about your plans so we can coordinate the content of the summary paper and cite your publication in the summary paper.
Author list for the summery paper will be similar to previous campaigns. After the campaign lead, the working group leads will be listed in alphabetical order followed by all campaign participants in alphabetical order. We might invite WG leads to nominate one person who as made significant contributions to the working group to an elevated author position. These names will follow the WG leads in the author list in alphabetical order.
All communication about the campaign or the publication will be through your respective working group leads. We typically have >100 authors/participants and we simply do not have resource to respond to individual emails or changes to the paper. Please communicate them through your WG leads.
